-Learn how to handle and identify native Ohio fish
-Look at local aquatic life under a microscope
-Enter a raffle for prizes including tackle boxes and fishing equipment
-Enjoy a variety of arts and crafts
-Fill up with a free hot dog lunch.
Fishing rods and equipment will be available for children (15 and under) who do not have their own, but only while supplies last. Advanced registration is now closed. However, a number of rods are reserved for walk-ups on the day of the event and they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Additionally, any rods reserved in advance that are not claimed by 10:30am will be considered open to walk-up registrants.
Participants should bring a cooler and ice if they plan to keep their catches. No fishing license is required to fish in the lagoon.
