Water Quality Monitoring
The Doan Brook Watershed Partnership is part of the Lake Erie Volunteer Science Network (LEVSN). Each month, we monitor 15 sites along the Doan Brook to measure temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity and salinity. We hope to build out this program to train and empower volunteers to collect data and help to steward the Doan Brook. This program is also another opportunity for people to act on a local level amidst global climatic changes. Below is a short informative video Anna, one of our water monitoring volunteers, made about her experience.
