What a catch! Local fisherman Gavin Nupp sent this note and picture of a steelhead trout he caught in the Brook:
“There were several steelhead holding up in Doan Brook this March. After a cast of a wooly bugger, sneaking up from the big new retention wall, I had one on! It was a nice hen. Thank you Doan Brook Watershed Partners for providing clean water for the lake’s anadromous fish to migrate into.”
