June DIY Rain Barrel Workshop
June 13 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
$60Conserve water use and save money! Benefit local watersheds! Benefit plants and gardens!
A rain barrel is a container used to collect and storm rainwater that falls on roofs, traveling through downspouts and eventually down storm drains, often contributing to combined sewer overflows into Doan Brook and Lake Erie.
This DIY rain barrel workshop includes the barrel, parts, tools, and instructions on how to construct a closed, 55 gallon rain barrel system that can be easily attached to any standard residential downspout to collect and conserve rainwater for use watering your plants and yard. Rain barrels can also be used to apply for sewer bill credits.
Cost is $60 and must be paid at the time of registration. For questions, please contact us at: info@doanbrookpartnership.org
