Family Fishing Workshop

When: REGISTRATION IS CLOSED June 26, 2021

Where: Rockefeller Park Lagoon

Sessions: 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm

Join Doan Brook Watershed Partnership and Cleveland Metroparks Youth Outdoors for fun, family-friendly fishing. We’ll cover the basics from tackle and technique to casting, fish ID, and handling. We’ll even show you how to clean and prepare your catch. After learning the basics, everyone can test their luck fishing for stocked bluegill and catfish in the beautiful Rockefeller Lagoon. Bring your own rod and reel or borrow one of ours. Bait will be provided.

Participants should bring a cooler and ice if they plan to keep their catches. No fishing license is required to fish in the lagoon.

Advanced registration is required, please sign up here. For more info contact Elizabeth at 216-325-7781 or smith@doanbrookpartnership.org
