Horseshoe Lake History Walk

When: August 6, 2022 | 1pm-3pm

Where: Shaker Historical Society Park Lot

Join the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership, the Shaker Historical Society and Dr. Roy Larick of Bluestone Heights for a guided walk to explore the history of Horseshoe Lake from before its formation to present day. Austen Walker, SHS Digitial Exhibition Assistant, will share historical facts and anecdotes gleaned from archival materials and resources

Walkers will meet at the Shaker Historical Society parking lot at 1pm on August 6th. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear! A $5 per person fee, payable in cash or check, will be collected on the day of the event.
