October brings the annual and always popular Doan Brook gorge hike, where Holocene meets Anthropocene. Navigate sandstone slumps, bluestone waterfalls, Belgian Village, MLK-Fairhill GI, the clasping red oak, the trash rack, the Bemba, the magically disappearing Doan. And don’t forget the beautiful fall colors!
Root for Mother Nature to reclaim the chasm in the heart of the Heights.
