National Public Lands Day
Join us this National Public Lands Day as we improve the habitat of the wildlife area of the Shaker Parklands. Started in 1994, National Public Lands Day is the largest single-day effort to preserve and protect public lands. In honor of this day, the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, Doan Brook Watershed Partnership, and the City of Shaker Heights are hosting the public land event at the No Mow Site at the corner of Lee Rd and South Park Blvd in Shaker Heights.
Volunteers will be assisting with pulling invasive plants and/or planting native plants. Gloves, and tools will be provided. Be sure to wear old shoes. Bring a water bottle.
