Where: Cleveland Museum of Natural History
Doan Brook Annual Meeting
Join us in celebrating another impactful year of work and fun in the Doan Brook watershed!
Starting at 5:30pm, MIX & MINGLE over food and spirits
At 6:15pm, SHARE in the accomplishments of our year and LEARN how residents of Proctor Creek in Atlanta worked to overcome environmental justice issues to advocate for less flooding and more desirable stormwater solutions. Their work has resulted in new parks, a neighborhood water watch program, a new green infrastructure plan, job opportunities, peer-to-peer exchanges and more. Our featured guest speaker Darryl Haddock of the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance will present his efforts to facilitate equitable watershed protection and grow community voices for water quality health and greenspace access.
We will also award and HONOR our 2019 Watershed Hero
Parking is available on Wade Oval or for $10 in the museum garage.
EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT! If you would like to be added to the waitlist please contact Andrew at (216) 325-7781 ext.6783 or klooster@doanbrookpartnership.org.
